An Ideal Customer

Gator Garb's ideal customer would look a little something like this:

She would be average in every way: height, weight, and features. However, the way she chooses to differentiate herself is by style. She loves bright, bold touches and classy, timeless pieces. She would easily wear loudly patterned items as an all black get-up. She tries not to shout over the fashion world's din with the newest fads, but rather, she purchases pieces to complement her internal fashion compass. She would be young and dumb enough to try looks way out of her comfort zone, but old and wise enough to realize that she needs to keep her closet tidy. She would be single but adore children, pets, and the elderly. She would be kind-hearted, and she would be determined to achieve. After all, she would be a little something like me.
She and I would be so similar because she is the customer I hope to attract, and I am the customer that similar retailers hope to attract. I am loyal to local businesses that I deem worthy of my patronage, and I want that same loyalty for my business. I care for the people on the other side of the counter and try my best to not be bitter when things don't go my way. I want that same behavior in my customers. It is no coincidence that she and I are similar; it is because I want to see the way I care acted out in my customers.

  1. Hello Maeghan,
Your post was really good in explaining the type of customer you would like to attract. the part where you were stellar at was when you connected your avatar to yourself which was interesting because for mine, there was not many correlations between my avatar and myself. When you referred to yourself as kind-hearted and determined to achieve this showed how ambitious you were and how you saw yourself. You really emphasized great service which is something many companies lack, but the best companies have. Great Post!

    Respectfully, Justino Quezada Jr.
